If I Survive

If I survive this weekend at work, I will be back to write another post. Otherwise, so long! I am working today (Friday) from 3:30PM to 10:15PM, then I go home and come back at 8AM to 10PM (yes, the whole day) and work, then go home and come back at 7:30AM and work until 10:00PM (again, the whole day) and then come back at 8AM on Monday and work until 4:30. So, I work at ShopKo all weekend. I put myself in this position and look forward to the challenge of it all. Plus it makes it so I have enough hours to pay all my bills and stuff. The other upside is that I am working my two favorite places in the store – CSS and Service Desk. I am excited to work all these hours. At least I will know what is going on all weekend at the desk.

In other news, I am sick yet again. Not as bad as last time, but still have the body ache and stuffed up nose. On the flip side, it is getting really nice outside. Yesterday it was 53 out and we didn’t need our jackets! Also all the ugly snow is melting, so that is a plus! The dogs won’t go out into the back yard however because the snow has turned to water and there is so much of it that the ground can’t soak it all up and they don’t want to walk on it.

Well, I need to get ready and get going here. I need to eat and shower. I guess I don’t have the time to call my boss at Sonic.net for my review yet. It will have to wait until Tuesday.

Oh, and that person still keeps visiting my site! Why? I just want to know. It is coming from the umn.edu domain. I can only think of two people that it could possibly be. Register and tell me why or send me an e-mail. Thanks!

Biohazard

Well, where do I start? Monday night I got home and put together the new futon that I purchased. Kohl and I moved the room around a bit and got it all worked out. Then I started aching all over and felt like I had been run over by a bus. Over the next 6-8 hours (until about 3:30 in the morning) I had this pain as well as a fever of over 100. Kohl went to bed and I tried to fall asleep. I did until about 4:30 when I woke up in so much pain I had to take a Vicodin from when I had kidney stones last year. That knocked me out about 6 in the morning and then I was able to sleep until 8:20 when I woke up and I woke Kohl up because he had work at 9. I called into work because there was no way that I was going to be able to make it in.

The rest of that day and the next day went pretty much the same; stay awake in pain, being hot and cold for 2-3 hours, fall asleep for like and hour and a half, then start over again. FINALLY on Thursday mid day this stopped. Then my nose started running and I had the death cough and sneezing! I spent the rest of Thursday blowing my nose all day. Friday I felt a little better and was able to get out of the house and run a couple of errands.

Friday evening I was hoping to get my cartilage pierced again, but they didn’t have a piercist on until Saturday. Beth and I went to her friend Val’s birthday party at the brewery lofts which was pretty cool. We played Apples to Apples and chilled out. At about 7:30, we left to meet Jay and Conor downtown to go bar hopping. We started at Players and hung out there for a while, then went over to “the Library” which is another bar where Beth, Jay and Conor had a Long Island Ice Tea. After that, we went to Cheap Shots, where Beth and Conor had two shots and Jay had one. I was hungary, so we went to this pizza place down the street and had a slice of pizza where Beth broke down crying to us and Matt on the phone “I want my Mewie!” It was hillarious and annoying at the same time.

Being the sober one, I took her home and called it a night. Saturday, I worked for the first time in almost a week and afterwards went home, ate dinner, watched some Parking Wars and called Conor up because he wanted to get his nipples pierced again and I wanted to get my cartilage done again. I met him at his house about 8 and we went to Mind Altering and got pierced.

Afterwards, we went back to his place, then over to Walgreens to get food, watched some Family Guy, some YouTube videos, played a little bit of Wii and then Jay and Beth showed up around 11. We started off the night at Who’s on Third? where we got a fish bowl and I only had a few sips. We left there and went to the Library again where Beth, Jay and Conor had two Long Islands and Beth almost killed herself on the stairs.

After that, we went to Players to finish off the night. All in all, it was a good night.
