Well, I haven’t really had time to do anything since I got here. There has been a lot of unpacking, working, shopping, cleaning, organizing, and trying to get some rest in there somewhere as well.
Lets start at the beginning; We moved in finally and are settling into our house well. We have high speed internet access (10Mbps!), phone service (e-mail me if you want the phone number and I can get that to you), DirecTV, Power (DUH!) and all the addresses finally changed over.
I interviewed and got a job where Beth and Matt work (Shopko), and it is turning out pretty well so far. I am working on the sales floor at the moment and am looking forward to a possible supervisor position (which the Store Manager is really eager to get me into). The sales floor is a lot of walking around like I used to do at Toys ‘R’ Us and Home Depot, which is healthier for me than Sonic.net was.
The people at Shopko are all really nice (as is everyone in Wisconsin so far). Kohl also got a job at the GAP in the mall down the street. It is really nice because both us of walk to work and don’t have to spend a lot of money on gas and it is much better for us anyway.
I haven’t had much time to work for Sonic.net telecommuting (which I hope to rectify this next couple of weeks).
Kohl got a new puppy that he named Monster. It is a terrier/beagle mix and she is SO cute. He has to take her to the vet tomorrow to get the checkup. She is still not potty trained, but she is getting there pretty quick.
We got a Christmas tree the other night and Kohl decorated it while I worked on the lights outside. I think I did a pretty good job on the lights considering that I had to use my car, a step stool and climb onto the roof through the bathroom window as we do not have a ladder.
It snowed for the first time since we got here on Friday night/Saturday. I LOVE the snow and everyone else thinks that I am crazy. The only thing that I don’t like about the snow was getting trapped in it this morning when Kohl and I were running late to work and I had to drive. We didn’t shovel the snow and I backed the car out of the garage all fine and good, but I let the car warm up there while we finished getting ready and then when we tried to leave the car just would not get traction. We eventually got it going and got to work slip sliding our way down the road to work.
I am not going to post any pictures of Wisconsin here in this post, but here are some links that will take you to the related pictures in this post:

In the future updates I will post pictures inline, but I was too lazy to do it this time and I had to get this post out.
Well, until next time (whenever that may be).
