Tired

I am debating whether or not I want to stay after work and move my desk around. I am in that mood again. I am also way tired and kind of want to go home and watch some TV, maybe get my TiVo to work with the network card and then go to bed considering that I have to be back here at 6AM tomorrow.

Overall, today has not been bad. The call volume has been up and down and the people have been pretty mellow.

I found this site that has a program that will allow you to order pizza from the command line. Well, maybe I will update more when I am off of work.

Zero isn’t always bad

Well, I am not really going to talk much about work on here anymore, but I am going to talk about work when there is great optimistic news. This week, the outbound queue hit 0 tickets, which has not happened in over 6 months! That, and the ticket queue has been bouncing off of 0 off and on as well! All is good.

For those of you who know me at work, I am obsessive about tickets and the ticket queue. I love just sitting at my desk and hammering out ticket after ticket. I am pretty good at tickets now, and can usually answer most inquiries that are sent in. I did have some issues in the past with friendliness of the tickets, and thoroughness. I have worked on both of those things and feel that i am doing great on them now. Only time will tell.

In other news, Laura’s birthday was fun. We went to the Cheesecake Factory in Marin with Laura’s mom. Charise and I had a good view of the wait staff (man, there were some hotties). Afterwards, we went home and had Kevin take us to Applebees where we got drunk. I have to say I love the drink that Kevin introduced us to. It is called a “Washington Apple.” It tastes just like apple juice and will get you wasted quick.

We left Applebees and went home where we passed right out. About 5 hours later, I wake up to Laura getting up and going to the bathroom. Lets just say she wasn’t feeling well. When she came back, the sound of her not feeling well made me not feel well. I got up and hugged the toilet. This went on most of the next 3 hours switching off between Laura and I sharing the toilet hugging. We then took Jackie to get groomed at Petco.

We brought her back home and then watched American Idol, Jay Leno and Chicago. Afterwards, Laura and Charise went home to sleep.

Wednesday, I had to work a 4 hour shift from 7-11. I was on the phone with AT&T for almost 2 hours to get 15 of our customers back online. In the end, it was a bad switch and they bypassed it and the customers came back online. It felt good to get it back up and running.

Kohl is coming over on Saturday morning to sleep and get a ride to Healdsburg because he works from 9PM – 4AM Friday night/Saturday morning and doesn’t have a ride. Well, that should be a good enough update for now.

Happy Birthday Laura!

Today (I hope) is Laura’s birthday! Happy birthday Laura! See you later tonight!

Valentines Day

Well, I hope that everyone is having a great Valentines day. Mine was OK. So far, I have slept in, taken a shower, walked the dog, went over to Kohl’s to drop his mom’s computer off and fix his website, came back home, ordered pizza, watched some CSI, and now updating my site. I plan on finishing out this evening with another episode of CSI and then go with Laura and Charise to see Hannibal: Rising sometime after 9PM tonight.

Well, I hope everyone has a great Valentines day, now go out and post something on your own blogs and/or go spend some time with your honey!

I found you!

You know who you are and you know where I found you! That is all I am going to say.

PS to anyone who wants to know what this post is about; no, I will not tell you what this means, it will just have to drive you crazy forever.

Friday Night

Well, as per usual Sonic.net is pretty calm tonight being a typical Friday night. The ticket queue is looking a lot better (we are WAY under 1000 tickets for the outbound queue). Actually, there are only 125 (!!!!). That, combined with the 16 tech tickets make this a pretty good place to be. A lot better than where we were before.

In other news, Jackie has turned into a raging terror of a dog. I guess that is why they call them terriers. She has a TON of energy and likes to chew up everything. But, she is staying quiet which is the best thing.

On Wednesday, Charise, Laura and I went to Cupertino where we visited Apple’s world headquarters. It was pretty exciting. I went into the Apple Company Store and purchased a few things, among which was Laura’s birthday present of an iPod charger for her new car.

Which reminds me that I was able to drive her new car to Cupertino, San Francisco and then home again during this trip. It was pretty fun, except for filling her car up with gas ($45 dollars, ouch). The drive was nice otherwise. They had a shirt at the Apple Company Store that said “I visited the Mothership” which I almost purchased, but didn’t want to be THAT nerdy. I ended up purchasing a mug for Kevin to make up for not bringing him something back from MacWorld, a keychain, a t-shirt and Laura’s birthday present.

Well, that should be good for now, over and out!

Quick update

Well, not much has happened since my last post. Laura had driven her car to work, I have driven myself to work and all seems to be well with the world.

Apple did not announce a new wide screen iPod at the Super Bowl, I did not lose my job for an angry post and Jackie is feeling MUCH better now. Well, time to go to bed, I have work at 6AM tomorrow. Wish me luck!

What a crappy year (2007)

So I had the pleasure today of getting up, walking the dog (which is feeling better now) and then getting ready for work, only to have to drive to Fort Bragg (sp?) to visit my Uncle Budd with my mom because he was in the hospital for some infection to his ankle that he had been having issues with and he had a bad reaction to some medication and he was seizuring and stuff. So, I just got home (right now) to a DMCA notice (DOH) for downloading some dumb show that I was curios about. In the future, I think I will stick to iTunes or renting off of Netflix because I work at an ISP and it looks really bad! Definitely one of my dumber moments.

While I was out of town, my friend Laura got a new car (a 2006 Saturn VUE) for herself for her birthday. It was pretty exciting. Well, I am REALLY tired and am going to go to bed now.

Also, as a side note, I noticed looking through my web logs that I got a lot of Sonic.net traffic today, and that makes me a little concerned about why the sudden interest in my site. It was probably related to the angry post that I made and have now made a private post.
