in the cup of juice that I drank that made me get an Apple Mac Mini. I am now in this mood that makes mee love everything Apple and I want to buy it all! What the hell? This computer has made me even more happy and more of an enthusiast in computers than before. I am not sure why. Since Jobs came back, they have been making some great stuff!
Laura may be able to get a job at Sonic.net as a receptionist. We will see. I am going to tell her about it later.
For now…..
Well, I have uninstalled Windows XP from my Mac Mini. Why you might ask? Well, I just don’t see a need for it. I have found many applications that work just fine that are Mac specific that are better than the apps on Windows. I am very happy with my purchase. I even persuaded Eli to let me put it on the LAN at work. His only condition was that I choose between having my laptop on the LAN or the Mini. I chose the Mini. Now, I just have to worry about paying Laura back. Damn it.
Tonight is also Laundry night (which actually should have been done a while ago). I am not really looking forward to it at all. I hate laundry. Laura loves it for some strange reason. I dunno.
Kohl was called into work today to get some more hours, and does he need them! I am happy for him. He had to work at Gap Kids today as opposed to regular Gap with the boss that he is not terribly fond of.
I also realized today that my mint website tracking had not been working since changing my site to a new theme. Damn it! Oh, well it is not like I am selling ads or anything like that.
That was a pretty long post, so I will come back and type some more later……
Well, Laura was nice enough to help me finance my new Mac Mini. Boy, do I love it. It is such a great little device. It is small, powerful and portable. I was thinking of putting Windows XP on it, but I am actually seeing no need to at this point. I really like all the applications and the look.
What does Laura get for this you ask? She gets the Mac G3 that I purchased from Max last week for her first computer. Also I am thinking of giving her the free DSL I get from work. That in itself is a good gift. She will then be able to add music to her iPod and browse the net without having to be at our house. I think this will help for when she is bored.
Enough for now! I am going back to work on my Mini!!!
Well, I got very lucky this week. First off, I was able to purchase a Mac G3 from my co-worker so I could have a Mac finally! I am still waiting to get my Mac Mini, but this will last until then. I had toget a new keyboard for it, because the other one was hard to type with. I tell ya, the Apple people sure know how to make a nice keyboard! I am excited!
In other news, I got new tires for my car and Kohl and I put up shelving in the closet. I did not go to work today because I felt like shit, but I feel a lot better now! That is close enough for an update right now!
